In an effort to be more organized and have all my rabbitry "stuff" easily located/read on the web here, I've decided to start a blog. It will contain all manner of rabbitry-themed posts, pictures, and even the occasional homesteading/non-rabbit information or ideas.
I will not lie, this was mostly inspired by the amazing (and well-organized!) blog of the Hillside Homestead...now to figure out how to link to them. Give me some leeway, there's a learning curve to all this!!!
Right now I've got kits in the nest box...my Mini Rex doe, Doyle's KT16 (aka "Nellie") delivered four kits on Tuesday, July 16th; three otter and one black. Two of the otter kits were peanuts, and unfortunately had to be culled. The remaining two are thriving!!! I'm really hoping the otter is a buck. Sired by my black buck, The Don's Black Jack, these are my first home-bred Mini Rex kits.
Eagerly awaiting litters from my other does as well!!!
